Dusty Road Horses [DRH] is located in the northeast part of Iowa near the very small town of Randalia.
Our breeding program is a small one centered around two primary objectives:
QUALITY
We strive to produce American Paint performance horses that possess the disposition, intelligence, conformation and athleticism to succeed as show horses in the arena, as ranch horses, and as pleasure/trail horses.
CHROME
We wouldn't be furthering the American Paint Horse breed if we didn't strive for tobiano, tovero and overo patterns.
Come back often as we update our site regularly. All of our horses are posted here on our web site. If you have any questions we can be reached via calls, texts and emails. DRH news, updates and many additional pictures are posted on our Facebook page. (Icon below) It is a public business page so you do not have to be a member of Facebook to view the page and photos.

I bought my first horse from Dusty Road Horses, Ris Key Delta, six years ago and owning and training him sold me on foals from this program so strongly that I just bought my third foal out of the same mare. These horses have excellent bloodlines and conformation, but most importantly, they have the best minds; they are friendly, smart, willing, and brave. Physically and mentally, they are capable of excelling at anything you ask. Jeremy is easy to work with and communicates well before, during, and after the sale. You can tell he genuinely wants to improve the breed and the horses he produces definitely do that.

The Lockards were wonderful to work with for our purchase. I had been looking for a couple years for some specific working bloodlines to start a new youngster in the long term plan to retire one of ours in the future.
My High Brow Rolex became available on their webpage and she looked like she might fit my needs perfectly. I haven’t been disappointed! They were great about us making a trip to see the foal prior to weaning. During that trip I was very pleased with the other stock they had on the property. I also had some odd requests about feeding and handling at weaning that they were great about accommodating. What I got to bring home was exactly what I’d been looking for in breeding, brains, personality, and more color than I’d hoped for! I will definitely consider their horses again! |

Jeremy and Kayla were very good to work with during the purchase of two mares. Communication was excellent. Messages and emails were answered promptly, courteously, and accurately. These mares are happy, healthy, and in excellent shape physically and mentally. If you are looking for horses, definitely check out Dusty Road!

I just want to make a shout out to Jeremy with Dusty Road Horses! These are by far the best people to work with. My mare has been there a while now and they are taking great care of her. She's there to be bred to their stallion and she's not being the best with letting him cover her. Jeremy texts me every few days with an update. A lot of other breeders would have given up on my mare by now but he hasn't and it's the best feeling to know he's trying very hard to make it happen!!!! Thank you for everything!
